i love creating something like this especially for friends. the ideas don't always translate as well as i hope, but it's incredibly rewarding to have such inspiration and to know that others appreciate the effort. this is for one who's celebrating his birthday today. a very happy birthday!

diane kruger in vionnet

this has got to be one of diane kruger's finest moments. i love the air of mystery this look provides, and the hint of perversion via the sheer skirt and hosiery (paired with suede and python heels nonetheless). if i can change one thing, i'd opt for a more subtle/somber clutch. the fuchsia satin clutch provides a nice contrast against the blue lace, but i find it a bit too playful. regardless, i can't stop looking at this. it's a really stunning effort.
